Up This Week: Products To Love
A few weeks ago, the nice people from Eazy Find contacted me and asked me to review their stackable storage box to see if it could help my ever going shoe collection. I was sceptical at first because for years, I have never found ONE item that could fit my list of shoe storage requirements: They need to be protected/kept dust free, they need to be easy to access, they need to fit neatly into my closet and, I don't want to hate to look at them. But curiosity got to me and I asked that the boxes be sent to me and I would test them out.
The day they arrived on my doorstep, I tried to keep an open mind. I took one look at them and realized I was responsible for putting them together. I had to put them together?! Myself? The least handy girl in the world? Except I timed myself and the box took me 20 seconds to put together. Literally. I was even tossing a ball to my puppy while doing it. A normal person could probably do it in half the time.
And that was when my love affair with Eazy Find began. It was like the heavens had opened and my prayers for a shoe storage system had finally been answered. There are so many things to gush about but let's start with my absolute very favorite thing: the drop down front opening. What a simple idea that has literally made my life a 1,000 times easier. No more having to remove a box from a carefully arranged pile to get to the shoes I want. No more boxes all over my bedroom. No more rearranging of the shoe box tower because I'm adding a different shaped box to the mix. I literally drop the front down, grab the shoes and I'm on my way. LOVE.
I know you are thinking to yourself, "But T, I get a shoe box for free when I purchase my shoes". Well, yes you do, but are all those shoe boxes the same size? Do they securely stack within each other? Do they have a nifty pocket window where you can place a picture of exactly what is in that box? Did you purchase your shoes at a discount retailer (think Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack) and they didn't come home in a box? Eazy Find to the rescue! Before my closet looked like a shoe box jigsaw puzzle. I had to carefully arrange the boxes to stack neatly with bigger boxes on the bottom and smaller ones on top. Only problem? Murphy's Law dictated that my favorite shoes were in bigger boxes meaning I was constantly holding my breath to make sure there wasn't a toppling of the shoe mountain when I grabbed a bottom box.
And some other important things to note: they fit more then one pair of shoes in a box (flats, sandals, flip-flops), they are basically the size of a regular shoe box, they are made from at least 65% recyclable materials. And the best thing (after the front flap and the pocket window)? They are made right here in the United States! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
Don't forget, these boxes can be used for an array of things...so be creative!
So, on to the contest. The folks at Eazy Find have generously offered to send one reader a set of 8 stackable storage boxes. Thanks Eazy Find! All you need to do to enter is comment on this blog and be a fan of Organized To A T on facebook. That's it. I will randomly pick a winner on Monday, September 13th. Good Luck!
Remember, life is easier when it's organized!
**Disclaimer: Organized To A T won't be bought! ;) But seriously, just because a company sends me a free product to review does not automatically result in a gushing post about them. If Spacebags sent me $10,000 worth of product, I'd STILL hate them. So there's that!
